Greetings Voidpilots!
We have a quick shipping update for a small number of our international backers.
We're currently working with our manufacturer on a potential shipping opportunity for our backers in Australia and Vietnam. Rather than having these orders travel with the main shipment to the United States and then ship internationally, we may be able to have them shipped directly from our manufacturer. We're still working through the details, so we can't guarantee that we'll be able to use this option, but we think it's worth exploring.
If we're able to make it work, this should result in faster delivery and may also reduce shipping costs for those backers.
If your shipping address is in Australia or Vietnam, you'll receive a personal email from us within the next hour with more information. We'll be asking you to confirm whether you're interested in pursuing this option so that we can request an individual shipping quote for your order. Again, we can't guarantee that direct shipping will ultimately be available, but we'll let you know as soon as we've confirmed if we can make it work.
For everyone else, no action is required. This does not change our existing fulfillment plans or the shipping process described in our previous updates.
We're happy to have the opportunity to explore this option for a few of our international backers, and we'll continue looking for ways to make fulfillment as efficient as possible.

Voidpilots Dispatch #29: Production Update

Greetings Voidpilots!
It's time for a quick update. While we don't have any major milestones to announce this time, we're doing several things behind the scenes as we're working towards fulfillment.
Production and Fulfillment
Product testing and manufacturing are continuing, and we're waiting on our next production status update. On the logistics side, we recently received the manufacturer's draft packing list for the international shipment to the United States. While there are still several steps left to go, the fulfillment process is taking shape.
Based on where everything currently stands, we're planning for fulfillment to backers in early 2027. We'll provide a more specific timeline once manufacturing is complete and we have our final shipping arrangements in place.
Shipping Costs
Working with Quartermaster Logistics (QML), we've requested our fulfillment shipping quotes. Once we have those quotes, we'll add the applicable shipping costs to each backer's pledge manager account.
Once we've added the shipping costs, you'll log into your pledge manager account, review your shipping cost, and approve the charge. We'll give step-by-step instructions on how to do this when it's time.
We're currently planning to charge cards on November 15th, although that date may shift depending on when we actually receive the game from the manufacturer.
We'll send out an update once the shipping costs are available, along with reminders before the charge date. This will give everyone time to review your shipping information (including your address), approve the shipping charge, and make sure your payment method is current.
For now, manufacturing is underway, product testing is in progress, and the logistics and shipping process is moving forward. We'll share more updates as soon as we can.

Voidpilots Dispatch #28: Mass Production Has Started!

Greetings Voidpilots!
Today, we have the update we've all been waiting for.
Mass production has officially begun!
Our manufacturer has begun mass production on Chronicles of the Stellar Drive Empire™: Voidpilot's Legacy, including the base game, expansions, and rewards. Based on the current production schedule, we expect manufacturing to be completed in late September or early October.
Reaching this stage is a tremendous milestone for our team, and we're excited to finally see the game moving to the production line.
As part of this process, the manufacturer will also send us mass production samples for one final review. We'll be sure to share photos once they arrive.
Final Improvements
As we discussed in the last update, we made one last improvement to the dice. By working closely with our manufacturer, we were able to adjust the finish so they really pop. We're incredibly happy with the final result. It's a noticeable improvement!

Voidpilots Dispatch #27: Sample Review Completed

Greetings Voidpilots!
We've completed our review of the production samples, mostly by playing a bunch of games! We're very happy with the results.
After testing the game and carefully reviewing everything, we requested only three changes before mass production begins:
- A minor rulebook edit to improve clarity (which we've already approved).
- An adjustment to the dice coloring to reduce the amount of gray and allow more of the purple coloration to show through.
- A small modification to the base game box insert so that sleeved cards fit a little better.
Overall, the quality of the samples exceeded our expectations. It's hard to put into words just how excited we are with how everything turned out.
Along with submitting our requested production modifications, we've also signed the final production quote with our manufacturing partner.
Once we've reviewed the finished modifications, we'll move into the next phase of production.

The samples have arrived! Everything is looking great.
This was our first opportunity to see and handle every component together. We've made our initial review of each item. These samples are full production quality and so far, we’re very pleased with how everything turned out. (We're not done reviewing yet! We still need to go through everything very carefully.)

Cards, dice, rulebook, and tokens look great. Based on our initial review, print quality, card weight, color, readability, and finish are exactly where we want them.
