Why isn't shipping listed in the reward tiers?

Shipping and local taxes (where applicable) will be charged in the Pledge Manager after the end of the campaign. We’re partnering with Quartermaster Logistics, an expert and industry-standard shipping and fulfillment company.

Please research import regulations to learn about these potential costs for your country before placing an order.

Each pledge MUST be shipping to a single delivery address. Unfortunately, we cannot split pledges to ship to multiple addresses.

How is shipping estimated?

Shipping is estimated based on the size and weight of the items being shipped. We’ve already done a lot of the legwork, so we provided estimated sizes and weights for all of our items to our shipping partner. Additionally, to provide the best possible estimate, the quote we requested included all initial stretch goal rewards (so, as an example, the Ultra Deluxe shipping quote included the dice tray, F3L1N3 copawlet stuffy, and hardcover sourcebook).

Note that the quotes are an estimate. Manufacturing may change the final weights, shipping sizes, etc. Additionally, shipping will occur in mid-2025, therefore the prices will change based on global shipping rates at that time. Also, the quotes do not include any import regulations or customs fees. Please research import regulations to learn about these potential costs for your country before placing an order.

What about currency conversions?

While prices shown on the campaign pledge are in United States Dollars (USD), your pledges may be shown in your local currency. Your card will be billed in USD when the campaign ends. Currency exchange rates change regularly. Look at your local currency exchange rate toward the end of the campaign for the current price.

Why isn't the Voidpilot's Legacy basic game available as a late pledge?

The Voidpilot’s Legacy basic game will be offered again as a product pre-order when we transition from a late pledge campaign to a pre-order store, which we expect to do mid-January 2025.

When are you charging for shipping?

We’re going to collect shipping via the pledge manager prior to shipping out your rewards so that we’re getting the absolute best rate based on global shipping rates at that time. We’re working hard to minimize the shipping rate as much as possible. We expect to charge for shipping within a month of fulfilling rewards.

When will my credit card be charged?

We’re going to collect final payment via the pledge manager next year. We will notify you via a project update, and we’ll also post on our social media, prior to collecting the payment. We expect to collect final payment within a month of fulfilling rewards.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Terms and Conditions

You are responsible for any import taxes or other duties of the country you selected for delivery, unless we explicitly stated on the campaign page that customs-free shipping will be provided in that region. We cannot issue refunds for orders that could not be delivered due to unpaid import taxes on the recipient's end.

In the event of a delivery failure where a reshipment is requested, you accept that we may, at our discretion, charge you for the cost of reshipment if the delivery failure was a result of the following reasons: if the address provided was incorrect or out-of-date, if the address was that of a PO box, or if the failure was due to an absent /uncontactable recipient. You must provide a secure address for delivery; we cannot be held responsible for theft of your parcel after delivery to your given address.

We will replace missing or damaged gameplay components. Box replacements will be assessed on a case-by case basis and such replacements will be entirely at our discretion; we will not replace game boxes with minor cosmetic imperfections.

It is BackerKit's policy not to allow refunds to Kickstarter pledges after the campaign has ended, or preorders after they have been charged. Any uncharged preorders or failed payment pledges, we will cancel at the backer's request.
